Welcome to Golf Map NZ. These Terms of Service govern your use of our website, 2D interactive viewers, and 3D enterprise models (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Recreational and Informational Use Only

Golf Map NZ provides drone-based spatial mapping and orthomosaic imagery designed to help golfers visualize and plan their rounds. This Service is provided strictly for recreational and general informational purposes.

• Not for Official Surveying: Our maps and distance measurements are not certified surveys and should not be used for official property boundaries, legal disputes, construction, or architectural planning.
• Play at Your Own Risk: You are solely responsible for your actions on the golf course. Do not rely on our maps to determine the safety of walking paths, the structural integrity of terrain, or the likelihood of hazards (e.g., steep drops, water features).

2. Accuracy of Information & Disclaimer of Warranties

While Lode Ltd. strives to capture highly accurate photogrammetry and topographical data, golf courses are living environments that undergo frequent alterations (e.g., moved tee boxes, redesigned greens, natural erosion). Therefore:

• The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without any warranties of any kind.
• We do not guarantee that the maps, GPS tracking overlays, or distance measurements are completely accurate, current, or free from error.
• Lode Ltd. disclaims any responsibility for any lost golf balls, lost tournament strokes, injuries, or property damage resulting from reliance on our digital maps.

3. Intellectual Property

All content provided on this website, including but not limited to the 2D orthomosaic imagery, 3D photogrammetry models, logos, text, and website design, is the exclusive property of Lode Ltd. or our mapping partners. You may not scrape, download, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our spatial maps for commercial purposes without our explicit written consent.

You may, however, use the "High-Res PDF Export" feature provided within the viewer for personal, non-commercial use.

4. User Conduct

When using Golf Map NZ, you agree not to:

• Attempt to bypass, hack, or overload our mapping APIs or servers.
• Use automated scripts, bots, or web scrapers to extract bulk spatial data from our viewers.
• Submit false, defamatory, or inappropriate content through our sponsorship channels or contact forms.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law, in no event shall Lode Ltd., its directors, employees, or partners be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

6. Third-Party Links & Sponsorships

Our website features a "Wall of Fame" highlighting community sponsors and may contain links to third-party websites or services (such as Buy Me a Coffee). Lode Ltd. does not endorse, control, or assume responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.

8. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
